Hi! I'm Gabrielle.

I grew up in Northern Alberta, and am of French Canadian and Indigenous heritage. I’m a proud member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, and I’ve lived in amiskwaciy-wâskahikan (Edmonton) for the past 5 years, and consider it my home.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts and my Bachelor of Design from the University of Alberta in 2017 and 2019, respectively. I currently work as a UX designer, but I also have a strong fine art practice (with a show currently touring Alberta—check out my art page to learn more). 

Besides art and design, in my spare time I enjoy playing soccer (although an ACL reconstruction has put that on hold), dystopian fiction, New York Times crossword puzzles, turtlenecks, and Oxford commas. Oh, and if you couldn’t already tell, I love the colour yellow.
